Island Gorilla is a small, focused tool for people who learn languages using articles and YouTube videos — and who already trust Anki to make it stick.

Why It Exists

If you learn through immersion, you know the routine: you find a great article or video, look up a pile of new words, and then face the tedious copy-paste grind of getting them into Anki. Island Gorilla removes that grind. Study, save what matters, and export a finished deck — with audio and sentence context — in a click.

What It Doesn't Try to Be

It's not an AI tutor, a chat partner, or a browser extension for studying the whole web. It's an article and YouTube study tool, a vocabulary capture workflow, and — above all — the fastest path from real content to an Anki deck.
